  Updated 3/1/2012:

  The Waikiki Beach sand replenishment project will go through April 2012. Additional sand will be pumped onto Waikiki Beach during month of March and at times machinery may be used - some noise is expected. Beach closures will be necessary in certain areas but only portions of the beach will be closed at any given time. Work is planned 7am - 12noon daily.
